Privacy policy.
We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the site and the newsletter, and never sell it.

This policy explains how Optimized Mornings (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit optimizedmornings.com or subscribe to our newsletter. Questions go tohello@optimizedmornings.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address and, for reporting, the page you signed up from.
- Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and performance in aggregate without cookies and without building profiles of individual visitors.
- Emails you send us. Your address and whatever you choose to include.
- Server logs. Our host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter and the free checklist you asked for.
- To understand which articles are useful and keep the site fast.
- To reply to you, and to protect the site from abuse.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Who processes it for us
- beehiiv hosts our newsletter list and sends our emails.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides privacy-friendly analytics.
Each acts under its own privacy terms and only for the purposes above.
Affiliate links, cookies and tracking
Some articles earn us a commission when you buy through their links. Those links, and every “Check price” button, go through an address on our own site that starts with /go/. When you click one:
- Our server redirects you to the retailer or brand. It doesn’t set a cookie or ask who you are; like any page request, the click appears only in our host’s short-lived technical logs.
- The retailer (for example Amazon) or the affiliate network that runs its program (for example Impact or Awin) may set its own cookies or use similar technology on its site. That is how it knows the visit came from us, so it can credit us with a commission if you buy something. It doesn’t change the price you pay.
- Those companies’ own privacy and cookie policies apply on their sites, and you can manage or block their cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them won’t stop the links working; it only means we may not be credited.
- Affiliate networks give us aggregated reports, such as the number of clicks and sales and the commission earned. They don’t tell us who you are.
Our own analytics are cookieless. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure page speed in aggregate. They don’t set cookies, don’t build a profile of you, and don’t follow you across other websites. We don’t use advertising or social-media tracking pixels, and the site itself doesn’t set cookies for visitors, so we don’t show a cookie banner.
When you sign up for the newsletter. The email address you enter is sent to beehiiv, which hosts our list and sends our emails, along with a note that you signed up on our website. beehiiv then sends you a welcome email with The 5-Minute Morning Reset. Like most email services, beehiiv may record whether an email is opened and which links in it are clicked, so we can see in aggregate what readers find useful. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time (see “Your rights” below). beehiiv’s own privacy policy also applies to how it handles your data.
Our full affiliate disclosure explains how we make money.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and remove or anonymise your details within a reasonable period, except where we must keep a record to honour the unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to how we use it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. For anything else, emailhello@optimizedmornings.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
